Syrelec 1000 Series Count/Rate Controls Simple Type: Count/Rate Control
The Syrelec 1000 PA Series can be programmed to function as a count or time control. The 1000 TA2 is a rate controller designed to measure speed by counting pulses during a time period selected by three rotary switches. The count control is available with one or two presets. Model1000PA1 is a single level control providing a relay and transistor output at the end of a cycle. The 1000PA2 is a dual preset control which provides a prewarn output and an end of cycle output. Both predetermined points have a relay and transistor output rated at 1 Amp 250V resistive and 40ma at 30V respectively. Each input pulse entered into the count control is compared to the value in the "preset" register. If the two values coincide, the output relay(s) and transistor(s) will actuate. In the single cycle mode, the output(s) remain "latched or on" until the control is reset. In the repeat cycle mode, the end of cycle output(s) actuate for an adjustable time between 0.1 to 1 second. The prewarn output in the 1000PA2, in the automatic reset mode, latches at its preset value until the first preset value is reached and then unlatches. The count value is then reset in time for the next count pulse.
